John FEENEY b. Ireland and Ellen FARRELL b. Ireland first lived in the Saugerties, Ulster County, New York area where their children were born: James, Patrick, Mary, E. Kate (known as Kitt), Edward and Thomas. The children were all born between 1860 and 1873.

They appear in the 1880 census for Plattekill, NY, which at that time was a part of Saugerties.

By 1889 the family had moved to Newark, NJ where daughter Kitt FEENEY married Thomas MAHER at St. Michael's Catholic Church on 6 Feb 1890. They (Kitt and Thomas) then moved to Boston, Mass. Kitt FEENEY and Thomas MAHER had one son named John Joseph MAHER who was born in 1891 at Boston.

Looking for other researchers of this line to share information with.
