I am trying to find a sister of Michael Feeney and Sarah Feeney Giblin of Davenport, Iowa. Sarah Feeney Giblin died March 30, 1899. Her obituary sid she had a sister who lived in Watervleit, NY. Except below...
"Deceased was born in County Sligo, Ireland in 1843. She was married there to John Giblin and they removed to this country in 1865, coming directly to this city where she has continued to reside ever since.
Besides her husband she is survived by six children, three sons, Michael, John, and Edward, and three dsughters, Mrs. Wm. Hauner, Mrs. Robert Hines, and Miss Anna Giblin, at home. She is also survived by a brother, Michael Feeney, of this city, two brothers in Ireland and a sister at Waterliet, N. Y."
Sarah Feeney Giblin was born 1843 in Sligo, Ireland. Her brother, Michael Feeney was born in 1847, came to America in 1866, and died in August 1917.
Does anyone know the names of the 2 brothers in Ireland or the sister in Watervliet, NY(new Albany)???
