Bernard Feeney or /Feeny 1866

Greetings all:

I am researching my great great grandfather Bernard Feeney, I know he also went by Barney /Feeny and sometimes Finnie, it depends on which document you read. I believe he was born in /Strokestown in 1838, his father according to the LDS is also Bernard, mother is listed as John Croghan (go figure) Im thinking perhaps /Johanna or Johannes is what was meant. At any rate he married CAtherine Cunniff, in Shettleston LKS Scotland in 1859, and had the following children, Mary, John, Catherine, and Elizabeth. On elizabeth's death cert of 16 Dec 1866, he is listed as deceased. Im unable to find a death cert in Scotland, Im wondering if he returned to Ireland.

If any of this sounds familiar please e-mail me, I'd love to find out more, I have a bit of Feeney information, I'd be glad to share.

Cheers
Karen
