If I may introduce myself to this chat - I have done a little research myself as my father, David Thomas Feerick, was born in Ballinrobe in 1903. His father was Pat Feerick. My father had a brother named John Feerick, but I am not sure if he had any uncles by the name of John.

My cousin, Jim Feerick, indicated to me that the name of Feerick has a Welsh background, and that the forebearers had originally come from Wales.

Best wishes,

John Feerick, Concord, NC
