Hi Feericks!

I too am a John Feerick (nickname is Jay). My father is John Feerick of French Grove, born 4/18/23 and my mom is Kathleen McCormick Feerick of Feurty, Roscommon born 9/22/27. In High School I did fundraising for the school (Regis, East 84th, NYC) and ended up speaking with a Doctor McCormick who was an alumnus.

He stated his Father was McCormick from Roscommon and his mom a Feerick of Ballirobe. He also stated he had the family genealogy done and traced the Feericks back to viking raiders who came to Ireland from denmark around the year 1000. he also stated that there is a brewery in Denmark run by our "cousins" called Frejvk (or something similar). I hope this is helpful.
