MY GRANDFATHER, JOHN FEERICK (RENAMED FERRICK UPON ARRIVAL IN US) ALSO IMMIGRATED HERE FROM COUNTY MAYO BEFORE THE FIRST WORLD WAR.HE LIVED IN JERSEY CITY AND MARRIED MY GRANDMOTHER, CECELIA GIBBONS, WHO WAS ALSO FROM MAYO. THEY MOVED TO THE BRONX AND HAD A DAUGHTER, MARGARET IN 1916 AND A SON JOHN (MY FATHER) IN 1918. MY GRANDFATHER DIED FROM THE FLU IN 1918, JUST A FEW MONTHS BEFORE MY FATHER WAS BORN-PROBABLY AROUND SEPT 1918. MY FATHER HAD A COUSIN NAMED MARTIN FEERICK. ANY RELATION TO YOU? PLEASE LET ME KNOW.

THANX,
BONNIE GALLAGHER
