My great-grandmother YOung (Jung) was born in Baden in the 1830s. She had a brother August and a sister Katharina. Reportedly, My great-grandmother Karolina Fehrenbach moved from Baden to Quebec where she met my great grandfather, Nikolaus Jung originally from the Kusel area in the southern part of what is today the Rhineland-Palatinate. While we have traced my great-grandfather's Jung family back a couple of generations, we have not been able to find the starting place for the Fehrenbachs.
