I have just discovered that my great-grandmother and her brother August came from the village of Reute (near Brisgau) in Baden-Wurttemburg. She was born about 1833 and he was born about 1835. They came to Canada in 1855. My great grandmother, Karolina Fehrenbach, and her husband, Nikolaus Jung, later moved to Michigan, Missouri and Kansas.
