I have a Pennsylvania deed record from 1826 in Westmoreland Co. That discusses a relationship between a father; Henry Fightner and his children; John, Abraham, and Elizabeth Fightner Immel. In regards to Henrys' will and a monetary lagacy owed to Abraham and Elizabeth(b.12/31/1782 d. 1827) from their brother John. I am descendant of Elizabeth. I also know via a book on the Immels that Elizabeths' parents were Henry Feitner(1753-1823) and Barbara Lunkens.
They came to Westmoreland Co. Pa. from Northampton Co. Pa. I recently visited the grave of John and wife Elizabeth Feitner buried in Central cemetery, Westmoreland Co.
Johns' tombstone is in disrepair and some info is missing. States he died on March 15th at the age of 78 yrs. 9 mon. 18??. His wife Elizabeths' stone faired better. It States she died July 5, 1851 at age 70 yrs. 3mon. 20 days. Two other Fightner graves are also here. William (9/25/1820-12/3/1880)maybe the son of John & Elizabeth. Sarah (3/3/1824-10/23/1880) wife of William. Do not be concerned about the different name spellings. These irregularities happen often. I am convinced that all spellings refer to the same family group and their lives in Westmoreland Co. Pa. Hope this is of help to you. write me if you have any concerns, Questions. Sincerely, Lois
