I am researching the name of Pelice, Pellice, or Pelluce, Peliche, or Pelic.... all names on documents, of my great grandmother, who said her father was from Spain.

I suggest you look into the spelling with a P instead of an F.
I know that the Italian names which begin with the P's are pronounced with an F sound, that is why I am looking into the F's for my Pelice... my great grandmother was supposed to have been raised in OH b. around 1866, with spannish father and irish mother, and later married and had family in NY and CT. Any possible connection?
