Thanks Carolyn but the name is definitely spelt with F both my grandads were born in Spain as was one Grandmother the other was born in Wales. According to rest of my family she was the only " Foreigner" One set of grandparents on my dad's side came back to Wales when Spanish Civil war broke out We have been told that my Grandfather who came to Wales had a brother who went to Germany and quite possibly ended up in the States unfortunatley due to civil war all documents were lost so unable to trace him
