I have had trouble with the Ellis Island web site. My Great-Grandfather was Carmine Felice. He was married to Mare Gallo. Carmine came to the US about 1900 with 2 of his cousins, also Felices. The 3 cousins all settled in Patchogue, NY. I am from Patchogue and have been quite interested in my ancestry. I believe Carmine was from Rende, Calabria, Cosenza, Italy. Hope this helps.
