Hi Joan... you supplied such wonderful information re Craft Felkey that one of our top DAR volunteer researchers was able to locate an official document that shows that Kraft Felkel paid a supply tax in Berks County. This means that we will go ahead and file a DAR application requesting that Craft Felkey be approved as a new Patriot (meaning that either no one successfully applied before using him as their Patriot or that applications were turned down for lack of satisfactory documentation).

The next hurdle is to provide an official document that shows that son Daniel was named in Craft's will.

By chance, do you or anyone else reading this message have a copy of Craft's will other than a copy of something that appeared online?

This is certainly exciting for Felkey family members with interest in joining the DAR or SAR. My friend is so excited about the possibility that we may get this application accepted, but I sure have to prove that Daniel Felkey was the son of Craft (Kraft) (Felkel) Felkey.

We will gladly pay photocopying and mailing costs and be forever grateful to one of you that may have this document that we need.
