Hi. I haven't forgotten you. I have a little bit of information, but was actually waiting for one more trip to the library before reporting back to you. I'll let you know what I have found so far.

You had asked about an Abe Fellers, & Gertrude, with Abe being born in Bastrop, TX in 1885.

The 1910 TX Census lists Abe Fellers, age 25 living with his sister, Julia Evans. There was also a Sam Fellers living in this same household. This was in Colorado Co., TX (near Lavaca Co.). Our family was definately in that part of TX during that time.

I noticed that in the 1920 Census, Abe & Gertrude had a son named Preston. There is also a Preston Fellers in the Lavaca County Fellers family. That one, the son of John Riley Fellers, was named Oliver Preston, b. 3/31/1885. John Riley, was the son of John & Sarah Wells Fellers, and a half brother to my grandpa, Ed Fellers.

I have been trying to locate just which Fellers family had a girl named Julia that married a man named Evans. I also wanted to look for more on Gertrude's family. I sent one email that looked promising, but didn't pan out. Anyway, that's where I am so far.

Later,
Mary Jo
