George Felts father was William Felt of England, and I understand he had a brother named Humphrey who remained in England. George was a cooper by trade and came to the colonies in 1628 as a member of the Winthorp Fleet. Some sources say he met his wife on the ship. George had many children and my lineage is form Moses Felt born in 1651. George live to a ripe old age and died in the 1690's. He was a town alderman and his signature was sined as George Felce. Hope this is helpful to you.
