I am the director of a long term history and archaeology project on Feltville / Glenside Park, Union County New Jersey. Feltville was founded by David S. Felt, a well-known and successful printer/publisher and stationer from New England, who settled in New York and New Jersey midway through his career.
I have most of the primary sources for historical information concerning the village, which flourished from 1845 to 1860 in central New Jersey, but I am obsessed and convinced that there will always be more data 'out there' to be gathered.
Of course, I have both of Austin Craig's books (Felt's village minister), The Morrison genealogy, Littell's genealogy and a small collection of Stationers' Hall Press books (Felt's publishiong enterprise), as well as Johnson's and Hawley's brief historical accounts, The 1847 Home Journal article, a few newspaper clippings concerning David's bankrupcy, etc, and I am willing to share info from these in exchange for anything relevant which I have not yet seen. I am particularly interested in historical photographs (pre-1950), advertisements from Glenside Park, The Glenside Echo, oral traditions of the family, letters, diaries, journals, etc, etc.
