Nancy F. Thompson, who I think is the daughter of James G. Thompson and Clarissa Jones, married Simon P. Felty 3 September 1879 in Greenup. (Probably not your Simon who was born 1827).
In the 1900 Greenup Census, James Felty age 17 and Charles Felty age 14, are living with James G. Thompson and Millie (Truitt) Whitt Thompson and are listed as grandsons. ( James G. Thompson's first wife was Clarissa Jones. Many years after her death he married the widow of Jonas Whitt.)
In 1910, Millie E. Felty age 17 is listed as a niece and living with William Randolph Whitt (son of Jonas and Millie) and his wife Mary, daughter of James and Clarissa Thompson.
My husband is descended from these Thompson lines, but some of these relations have me confused! Do you know anything about Simon Felty who married Nancy Thompson? Do I have the right Nancy? Are James, Charles, and Millie all children of Nancy and Simon? Please help! Thank you!
