Hi: I saw on the Felty family gen forum where George Felty mar (1) Polly Held and (2) Margaret Hurt - mar 1831. I think these are separate George Feltys. In 1850c, Washington Co VA, George Felty and Mary/Polly Held/Helt are still alive: HH58: FELTY, 49; Mary, 59; Sidney BROOKS, 31; Michael FELTY, 16; Daniel, 25; William, 13; Benjamin, 25. George Felty mar, Wythe Co VA, 16 Jul 1818, Polly Held. This George Felty must have been close kin to HH63, 1850c, Wash. Co. VA: fELTY, Jjames J., 26; Alcey (Linville?), 23; George W., 1. In between is the family of HH59: FERGUSON, David C., 59, NC; Sarah, 36; Nancy HJ., 18; Eliza A., 14; John W., 8 - in very early 1850s, both David Ferguson and James Felty moved to Clay Co KY where both are found in very close proximity in the 1860c, leading me to wonder if Susannah/Sarah, wife of David C.
