Dear Betty, I am not certain that this will be helpful to you, but I tried to find any connection between the Steen family and Fenimore family I might have in my database.

Thomasen (sic) Fenimore married Hendrick Van Brunt. She appears to be the daughter of James Fenimore and Elizabeth Scattergood.

I was interested in this VanBrunt connection because Georgeanna Steen who married Fred B. Fennimore was the daughter of Joseph Steen and Lydia VanBrunt.
