My maternal grandmother was Mildred Fenimore-Cornwell, born in Mt. Holly, NJ. Recently my mother and I visited the library behind the James Fenimore Cooper House in Burlington, NJ. They have extensive geneaologies on many old families from Burlington County, including a book of the Fenimore geneaology that goes up to about 1917. I can't remember the first name of the Fenimore for which the book is named after, but it is a cream colored book and there are two copies of it at the library on the back wall behind the filing cabinets. This book traces all the branches of the Fenimores who descend from Richard Fenimore.
