Thomas Fennessy, Catherine Fennessy, Westchester, Tuckahoe Marble Co., Parker are all part of the chain of the Fennessy family descended from Thomas Fennessy and his son Thomas (26?) who emigrated (together) to US. I don't recall the year at this point (my files are not to hand at this minute) They were quite definitely related to my Fennessy grandfather's forebears as I have an original print of a photograph of Thomas (Francis) Fennessy taken in Armbrusters Studio (NJ) in or around 1925. He was a fine looking man, white hair, wearing a coat with an astrakahn collar. There has been some references to stonemasonry and Fermoy (Co. Cork), not altogether too far from Waterford/Clonmel. An uncle of William (Bill) O'Loughlin (NY) has a copy of the same photograph. Bill has the fsmily details of the entire line - he comes in through the Parker connection. Doing my research over the past few years I never even thought to check the different spelling. Go to the Fennessy Forum where you will see my various messages. Best wishes in your research as I know it will also help me find my Scranton relatives (Fennessy or Loughman).
