Fenstermacher Families in Dansville, NY
Hello all!I am not a Fenstermacher relation that I know of but on a Memorial Day 2010 trip to Greenmount Cemetery I saw many Fenstermachers buried there.I have lived in Dansville all my life and had never heard the name so I decided to do some research that I would like to share with anyone who may be interested!I do have some headstone photos.I will list the info on the markers that I found:
1. A large stone with the name Fenstermacher with smaller headstones around it.The names are -

Bersheba 1822-1899 (John's wife)
Clarence W. 1846-1931
Frank 1852-1940
Adelaide 1855-1934

2. Nancy Fenstermacher
Died Sept 6, 1824 2 yrs old
3. Mary
Daughter of Solomon and Elizabeth Fenstermacher
Died Mar 24,183515 yrs old
4. Nathaniel
Son of Solomon and Elizabeth Fenstermacher
Died Apr 24,1837 19 yrs old
5. Soloman Fenstermacher
Died July 31, 18?? Aged 35 yrs (this headstone in poor condition)
6. Solomon Fenstermacher
Born in Northampton, Town of Lehigh on Apr 1, 17??
Died in Dansville on Feb 5, 1851
Elizabeth - his wife
Died Dec 12, 1871 aged 81 yrs

All of these headstones are in the same area of the cemetery.I have tried to do research on Ancestry.com but have been unable to find a common link for the above.I found other Fenstermachers in my research but not their gravesites so they may have moved on from Dansville or may be in another part of the cemetery that I have not explored yet.I will update new headstones as I find them and would appreciate any info on how these families are linked!
