Mr. Ferebee, I am a collector/dealer in Civil War relics. I own a pair of saddlebags that belonged to and are signed D.D. Ferebee. My research shows that Dennis Dozier Ferebee was a Colonel in the 4th NC Cavalry. He was a 45 year old lawyer when he enlisted in the service of the Confederacy
and rose to the rank of Colonel. He was wounded twice. I would be happy to learn of your research regarding Colonel Ferebee.
