Starting Sept. 30, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum
message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles
will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will
no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.
There is a privately published book (1973 or74) The Furches Folks by J. Frank Furches. Copies were placed in Wake Forest Public Library, Winston-Salen Public Library, LDS, Salt Lake City, Davie County Public Library, Duke, etc. I have no clue where to go to purchase it now, but maybe dealers in the local area of NC or eBay. I have it and will be happy to see if it includes anything you might want to know. Links to Ferebee and Brunts, of course. I also have The Ferebee Family, private publication of Catherine Ferebee Greenhalgh. No date, but it had to be 50's or before, I think. It goes back to Thomas de Ferriby, born in 1360. I can't verify that! I am descendant of Thomas Ferebee and Nancy Brunt through daughter Mary Elizabeth Ferebee who married Thomas Furches.
