According to The Ferebee Family by Catherine Ferebee Greenhalgh, (probably in 1930's and located at DAR Library) the children of Thomas Ferebee, Sr. and Nancy Brunt Ferebee were listed in an old family Bible. The book lists them all with information, but no indication of the ownership of this Bible. I am trying to prove Elizabeth, b. April 10. 1808 as Thomas's daughter and to locate records for proof of her marriage to Thomas Furches, b. Apr 22, 1789, son of Tobias Furches and Susannah Horn Furches.. I am told they are buried at Eaton's Church and plan to visit. Do you know anything about this Bible? I would appreciate any help with location of this Bible Record. Their son's marriage is recorded in Davie County but earlier records are possibly in Rowan. So far, I have not found them.
