Feret / Weston

Looking for the Feret Family. Were artists in England and Canada. Louis Feret's daughter Selena, married James Weston on Jan. 1860 in Shoreditch England. It appears the Weston family traveled back and forth between England and Canada during 1860 and late 1870's. James worked for William Notman. They left Canada and settled in Ma. then NYC.

There are a group of Ferets who were famous artists in France (family lore has the Feret's coming from France and one brother doing a sculpture of "The Trapper" which is told to be in a park in Canada) and a famous Feret who was a silversmith in Canada. As of yet can not actually match up with these.

Any connections? Please contact me at Boadicea5@aol.com

Thanks!
