Zylpha Ferguson 1802-1883, was Zilpha Huff, whose parents were William Huff and Lydia Miller. She is one of my ancestral grandmother. She was the son of notorious Champ Ferguson, who was a brother to my gr-gr-grandmother, Jemima Amanda Ferguson. Most of the family's genealogy can be found in Jack Fergsuson's, "Early Times in Clinton Co" KY, Revised 1st Edition, found at the Clinton Co Library, north of Albany, KY. Considered the least biased account of Champ Ferguson, is Thurman Sensing's book, "Champ Ferguson, Confederate Guerilla", available by order from Barnes & Noble Book Stores. Many names of people involved in the area are within, also.
