Yes I will email you. I dont have access to my mail tonight.
The only thing I know about her is that she was said to be an indian. My grandmother said that she had black hair with a red streak. The 1860 census for Warrick County Indiana lists her as 23 years old; and says that she was born in Ky. That would have put her birth at about 1837. She married my great great grandfather William Vann in 1858. I need to check the 1870 census for Warrick Co. Indiana, as it might give me some further insight.
The Taylor connection comes from a mystery photo. The photo circa 1850 is of an obvious native american woman. Older with graying hair. The back of the photo simply states, "Joe Cremeens great grandmother Taylor." Joe was one of the grandchildren of Elsey C ferguson. So after checking other family connections we assume that it is a picture of Elsey's mother. That is all that I know at this point. YOu can email me directly at [email protected]
Oh and I do not know what the C stands for.
David
