Wendy, maybe I should post this for others. Aaron David might have been b in MS. One researcher, Doris Ferguson Lewis, thinks LA, but she says MS is shown on his son's, Wilburn Eli SR's death certificate, info furnished by Wilburn Eli Jr. ADF's wife Adeline was b in MS. His father and mother were b in GA. Calvin Marion Ferguson was married to Elizabeth(Lizzie) Mills like you say, but I have info that states that he was m first to Nancy Opry Fielder. Apparently, James Thomas and the listed children's mother was Lizzie. I suspect that Lizzie was sister of Lula Mills that James Thomas McCoslin's second wife, Florence Lee being the first. I knew Lula in Jewett when I was 14-15, but can not find birth etc for her. Maybe James Thomas Feguson was so named after James Thomas McCoslin. I know Lula did not remarry after James T shot and killed a Dr Key? that gave her son George some medicine that his father considered bad. I don't know what punishment he received. I find J T MCCoslin on one census that shows he had the two wives with children by both, but nothing after that. He was considerably older than Lula so maybe he was executed or died after that census. I knew Peter Gerome Wilson and Rhoda Knight? that were parents of Mattie Wilson, Tom's wife. Pete was brother to Hence Wilson that m Mggie Wills, sister of Bob Wills. They lived in Leon Co TX but moved to Crosbyton, Crosby, TX where I knew them when my folks and I pulled cotton for them in 1938 or 39. Knowing all this, I did not realize that the ancestors of the Fergusons lived in Limestone Co before which was next county north of Leon.I never heard Tom or Mattie talk of Limestone, but maybe I just didn't notice. My Dad told me that Hence and Maggie Wilson had four boys that played and sang like Bob Wills did when he was young. He said that when he was 17 or 18 that the boys drove a Model T to a dance, think they played for the dance. The lights had gone out on the Model T and the boys wanted to borrow his and Luther D Brother's lantern to drive home by. Luther D and Dad said they needed the lantern to walk home by. The boys had a wreck on the way home and one was killed, think it was Saul or Sal. The remaining boys never played as a group again. However, one of the boy's played for us in Crosbyton. My Dad was regretful of not lending them the lantern. Growing up around the Ferguson's and McCoslins, I knew they were some kin, but didn't know how. It was not a normal Christmas if Oram Ferguson and Florence DeBerry with kids were not with us for many years.
