I am quite interested in the John Fergusson that you have found. My father Keith Ferguson was also a seaman. His father was a bit of a mystery. His name was supposed to be John Webster Fergusson aka Big Keith. He lived in St. Catharines, Ontario around 1930-39, joined the army, got injured in Gibralter, spent some time in a military hospital in Quebec. Then the last that was heard about him was that he had died probably in Toronto. He would have been born about 1895 give or take 5yrs. Maybe he is the son of your John. If you find any links with this information, will you e-mail me on ajj@ajjdavies.fsnet.co.uk
