Did you try to get Alexander, son of Alexander & Annie Laurie - perhaps he had more children. They also had a son William. Perhaps you should follow Sir John Ferguson's line. He married Helen Kennedy. I think they had four sons - Alex, James, John and Simon. There was also an Alexander who married Catherine Weir, daughter of Sir William Weir. They had three sons, but I don't know the dates. I also have that an Alex F. married Margaret, the daughter of the Bishop of Galway, later the Bishop of Edinburgh. They had two sons. I have the pedigree line of the Fergussons of Craigdarrock if you are interested. It goes back to 1484. This line only includes the lairds of Craigdarrock, but if you searched those names you might come up with other children.
It would be nice if you could email me direct at - Happy hunting. I would appreciate having the information you have on Annie Laurie and Alexander Ferguson. I am missing the wife of the Alexander born in 1715 that was their son. Also, perhaps their son Robert had children. They wouldn't be in the pedigree line, but still connected. How did you get the Fergusson/Laurie tree at the LDS's site. I don't have it or know what to do to get it. Thanks, Janice
