James, arrived NYC ca 1906, a twin?

I am looking for James George FERGUSSON who had a sister Margaret who may have been a twin of his. Birth date maybe 25 Oct 1877. Arrived in NYC probably 1906. He, a Presbyterian, married Mary Ann Collins, an Irish Catholic either in Ireland (per her citizenship application; or in USA per what his widow told family members). He died in March, 1921; his sister visited the family but was ignored by James' widow. He knew Sir Harry Lauder before Lauder embarked on his career. Family legend is that he and his sister had a dancing school in Edinburgh.
I cannot find anything at Ellis Island that matches his probable age nor anything on his marriage.
Any help greatly appreciated.
