Kathleen

I carry out accurate, inexpensive family research at New Register House in Edinburgh. This building holds all birth, marriage and death certificates in Scotland since registration became compulsory in 1855, plus census returns 1841-1901, and pre-1855 parish records of births and marriages.

Using these sources and the information you have provided, I would be able to find a lot more on your Fergusson family, including taking the family line back to the late 1700's/early 1800's.

I am also able to trace descendants of those who remained in Scotland, and I am normally able to supply a current home address for any descendants found.

I can provide references of my work if required (including in USA, Canada, Australia & NZ). If you are interested please contact me by reply e-mail for further details.
