John Fernald b. Sept. 27, 1642 was the fifth child of Renald and Joanna (Warburton) Fernald. Renald came to America in the spring of 1630 aboard the ship Warwick.
John m. Mary Norman in 1671, she the step dau of Thomas and Margery Spinney.
John d. Apr 19, 1687 in Kittery, Maine
John and Mary had 6 (perhaps more) children:
John b. ca 1672, James b. ca 1675, Thomas b. 1678, Lydia b. 1681, and twins Margory and Amos b. Apr 16, 1686.
John was a cordwainer. He received a grant of land in 1671.
