My grandmother has a copy of her father's death certificate. His name is listed as Manuel C. Fernandes, born in Azore Islands, Portugal date of birth listed as no record, but she believes he was born around 1894. His father is listed as John C. Fernandes, no record of any other info.
Manuel died in 1927 in San Antonio, TX. My grandmother was only three years old. She has very few memories of him but does have pictures of her mother pregnant with her visiting Manuel's family in Fall River, Massachusetts. One picture has a little boy labeled as Manuel's nephew, but no name. Manuel's wife's name was Wilma Irene Jordan.
Any information out there about this family would be very helpful to myself and my grandmother. She has wanted to know about his family all her life.
