This is probably who you are referencing:

Jacob F. Ferree, who died on Nov 5, 1886, is buried in Lykins, Dauphin, PA, and who is listed on the "headstones provided for deceased Civil War Union Soldiers". It says he was a Pvt, Company A, Regiment 50.

I don't know anything else about him.

I have a Jacob Forbes Ferree on my tree, who was born in 1822 in Dauphin Co, and who died before May 1887. No idea if they might be the same person.
