Kocherthal, Ferree & Palantine Migration

I am amember of the Lancaster Mennonite Historical Society. As such I receive their magazine, "Pennsylvania Mennonite Hedritage". Regarding Volume 31, Number 4, October 2008. Almost the entire issue is devoted to Kocherthal and his promotion of emiggration to the New World. Of course he was instrimental in geting my Ferree and Lefevre/Lefever ancestors to America. I recomend it for your family history as it points out the trials and tribulations our ancestors went through, where and when then fled, migrated and sailed, etc.
Volume 31, Number 2 has an extensive article on the surname Groff and LeFevre decendants. Many early 1700's Lancaster surnames and relatives are listed.Includes Eby; Denlinger; Metzler; Buckwalter, Kaufman, etc.
You may be able to get a copy from the Lancaster Mennonite Historical Society. Just google that name in for address and phone number.
