oh..the dna test was 23andme and in the myers family it looked like the Ferree was about 9 generations back...I find it interesting that your family was in Salona. We know Jacob Feerrar was born in what is now Union county (according to his death certificate) in 1804 ans we have no idea where he was until right around 1830 in Aaronsburg when he showed up with John and Joseph...perhaps there is a strain of Ferree's who changed their name...perhaps three brothers Joseph, John, and Jacob. John died in 1837 in Aaronsburg and his toombstone reads Feerer. Jacob's is in Boalsburg and it reads Feerrar....we have quite a brick wall that we hope dna will help. Do you know of any Ferrees who are on the 23andme database?
