Starting Sept. 5, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.

Mark Ferree (1905-1982) and JFK
Posted by: Kevin Harris (ID *****9267) Date: September 20, 2011 at 15:55:55

On May 9, 1961, Mark Ferree (1905-1982) was one of eight news executives invited to the Oval Office by President John F. Kennedy to discuss news coverage of the Bay of Pigs Invasion. I have written a blog post sharing some pictures and details about this event.

You can view it at http://arborfamiliae.wordpress.com/2011/09/19/no-mr-president/

If you have any questions about it, don't hesitate to comment on the blog or here.

Thanks,
Kevin Harris
