I have a certain amount of information on "Edward W. Ferren" (Farrin, Farron, Ferrand, Faron)who was b. cir 1804 in Pennyslvania. Was shown on tax records in Pope Co. Arkansas (or Lawrence Co.), who married (probably 2nd or 3rd time) in Franklin Parish, Louisiana in 1850. He was a blacksmith, and work/lived in Conway Co. Arkansas after 1850 to 1860. He left children in Franklin Parish, LA, and one son in Pulaski Co. AR.

Another "J. Ferron, aged 69, also a blacksmith, b. Ohio, was living in Cadron twp, Conway Co. AR. where I believe Edward was living before he died.

Does this ring a bell for any Ferren/Ferrin researcher?
