I have been trying to find info about my g-g-grandparents for 20 years. Here is what I know:
Patrick Ferren, b Northern Ireland, date unknown. Married Jane (McCuen) Malone, b Southern Ireland, date unknown. This was a second marriage for both of them. They immegrated to the US around 1850. Don't know if they were married in the US or Irleand.

Some of their children may have been born in Harris Hill, Erie Cty, NY.

Children:
James, b 1853. Never married.
Elizabeth Ann (Libby) b 1856...Married Thomas Wiltse 30 Sep 1875...Children--Phillip Thomas, b 19 Feb 1877, married twice, d 1944. Elizabeth died in 1880.
William, b 1855..Married Bertha May Clark 29 Jun 1902...Children--Madge (my grandmother).
William died 1935.
Charles Henry, b 1863. Never married.
Eleanore Caroline (Nellie), b 4 Feb 1865...Married Walter Butler 3 Aug 1884-No Children. Walter died in 1893.
Nellie died in the 1950's.

In the 1860's the family lived in Spring Green Sauk Cty, WI. Both Patrick and Jane died there in approximately the early 1870's.

All of their children changed their surname to Fern. I recently learned that their origional surname was Ferren. Does any of this sound even slightly famaliar to anyone?

Any info would be greatly appreciated.
