Hi, my grandfather Bruno Ferroli (1903 to 1968) came over from the small village of Frisanco up in the mountains of Friuli. The biggest town nearby is Maniago and the biggest city Pordenone.

His father was Giuseppi Ferroli (1881-1948) and he came from Tramonti di Soto. Some of their cousin in America did change their last name to Feroli because people were pronouncing it wrong, but my grandfather never did.

I have some genealogical info that a Feroli cousin who is a doctor did when he went to Italy years ago. Most of it seems pretty accurate though there are a few questions.

Let me know the farthest Ferroli line you can trace too and I'll see if we can plug it into the chart. Apparently, this cousin comes down from two seperate Ferroli lines. The oldest being a Paolo Ferroli born in the 1700's.

Does your family come from the Friuli region?

Anyway, drop me an e-mail at ebbpeg@usa.com, it was nice hearing from you. Eric
