No, I am not a Fertitta and only very indirectly tie into the family. But I posted a note on this forum about Salvatore Fertitta that seems to have precipitated a feeding frenzy.

Please refer back to the GenForum page and look for postings by Allison, Tony, and Joy Fertitta. Allison seems to be taking the lead followed closely by Tony.

They're working on family trees and family reunions. I think that your lineage fits into this picture.

Since you had mentioned Cefalý on the Italian page, I should mention that the Fertittas came from Cefalý and many of them emigrated to New Orleans around 1900-1905. In this regard, please see the US-based Web page at http://www.cefalutna.users.50megs.com/index.html.
