DAVID MYERS FRY, youngest son of ISRAEL and SARAH FRY, was born at Sharpsbury, Maryland, February l2, l852, and departed this life at his home near Van Wert, Iowa, April 5, l925, at the age of 73 years, l month and 24 days. In l873, after having spent eight years in California, came to Decatur County, Iowa, and settled near Van Wert, which has since been his home. At the age of 29 years he was united in marriage to RACHEL D. AREBAUGH and to this union were born ten children, five sons and five daughters, three of whom died in infancy and MISS MAE FRY who departed this life three years ago, the remaining are GEORGE I., FRED D., ALBERT F., also MRS. ELLA V. SOUTH, MRS. TILDA FESLER, MRS. ROSE WILSON, all of whom live near Van Wert.

Brother FRY gave his heart to God in l9l6, and became a member of the Pentecostal Church of which he has since remained faithful unto his Master until his Savior called him home. He was a devoted and loving husband and father and a good neighbor. He leaves to mourn his departure a loving wife and six children, thirty-eight grandchildren besides a large circle of friends. Brother FRY spent his last hours of consciousness in singing, praising and glorifying God.

Our dear one is now silent, hushed in eternal sleep but the spirit is here. Although we grieve and miss him and long for his earthly form, we all hope in Heaven to meet him on the resurrection morn. And with the blessed Savior before our Father's throne, we'll be joined in love together and know as we are known.

Funeral services were conducted by Charley R. Dobson at the Pentecostal Church of Van Wert. He was laid to rest in the Van Wert Cemetery.
A CARD - We wish to express our sincere and heartfelt thanks to neighbors and friends for the kindness shown us during the sickness and death of our dear husband and father.
