Jacob Fesperman
On 4 Feb 1840, Jacob Fesperman of Rowan County provided Adam Childers (or Adam C Wilders) a mortgage deed of trust of $1, for 83 acres of land on Deal's Creek, adj Moses Brown, Samuel Turner, John Hull? and John Hulin, including the outhouses. This was land that Daniel Biles (or Boils) sold to Enoch Phillips, who let Fesperman have it for the use of sd Phillips' widow, Frances Phillips for life. The land was then to go to Jane Elizabeth, wife of Jacob Fesperman, Margaret wife of Samuel Gardiner, Enoch E Phillips, Mary wife of Hillary Elliott, Rachel wife of Hiram Cozort, Nathan L Phillips, David Phillips, and Frances Phillips.(Rowan County Deed Book 34:312)
Frances Gardiner was Enoch Phillips' wife and these are the children of Enoch Phillips. Jacob Fesperman had earlier provided security for the estate of his father-in-law, Enoch Phillips, who died in Jan, 1840.
I'm researching the Phillips family, but thought this might help a Fesperman researcher.
