I am a 8th (?) generation descendent of Johann Balthhauser Fetterman. (#1 in the book by Tammy Bittner, from Lancaster, Pa at the time of the book's printing in July 1997)
His son J. Georg Fetterman (#2 in the book)
His son Jacob Fetterman (# 5 in the book)
His son Simon Fetterman (#22 in the book)
His son David Fetterman (#51 in the book/who my grandfather was named for)
His son Adam Fetterman (# 125 in the book)
His son David Edward Fetterman (#245 in the book- my grandfather)
His daughter Betty Elaine Fetterman Shaffer (# 397-my mother)

Tammy's email address is no longer valid, but I put the word out that I want to get in touch with her and get this information electronically. She spoke about perhaps putting it up on a web site, which I do not think has ever been accomplished. If I can get the information via disk or cd rom- putting it up on a web would be a piece of cake for me. I am an elementary art teacher- and computers are my passion. I think we would both enjoy swapping info to check on details. All I have now is a book.

It is possible that Owen could have two children by two different women at the same time. There are several instances where births took place very shortly after marriage. Case in point, my aunt Dorothy.
