Hi again, Vickie!
I could tell you a bunch about Phil but I would prefer to send a real e-mail to you. Is there a way I could get your e-mail address?
The shop they had was called, Handcraft House. I was pretty young then so I would guess that it was around 1951-52. I wasn't in school yet because I had to go with Mother every day to the shop. That's what we all called the Handcraft House.
I have to tell you.... I almost sent all the memorabilia to an historical society in Tennessee. The only problem was, which one? I didn't know where in Tennessee he was born. I just knew someday I would find someone who wanted the items.
I'll get the weight of the items tomorrow and write again tomorrow night. Yes, they would be coming from Portland.
I am so pleased that they will be going home to a family member!
