Well, after finding a Gideon FELLERMAN and Hannah in the 1850 Indiana Co. census, I thought Fellerman was a misspelling, but come to find out, in 1860, it is again spelled FELLERMAN. I looked more closely at the death certificate of George FETTERMAN and find that his parents are not listed as Gideon FETTERMAN and Hannah FINDLEY, they are Gideon FELLERMAN and Hannah FRIDLEY. Whoa!!! My gg grandfather, George took on the name of FETTERMAN. Perhaps I will tie again in to the FETTERMAN's but for this generation, it appears that I need to search FELLERMAN. Guess I'd better nix the FINDLEY too and work on FRIDLEY. I will get back to the FETTERMAN forum when and if I do confirm a FETTERMAN like prior to Gideon. Maybe he just didn't like the FETTERMANs and wanted to be different!!!!!
