Thomas & Sarah Fewins--mid 1800's--Iowa

Looking for information and relatives of Thomas and Sarah Fewins, who lived in Burlington, Des Moines County, Iowa, during the 1850's and 1860's.

I have two maiden names for Sarah, one being "Hunt", and the other "Garrett".

As far as I know Thomas immigrated from England around 1852 and married Sarah on June 8, 1855, in Burlington, Des Moines County, Iowa.

Thomas died in 1865 and Sarah died in 1870, leaving four children, who were either adopted, or fostered out to other families.

The four children's names were: Thomas Jefferson Fewins, Simon Peter Fewins, George William Fewins, and Maude Fewins. There was a fifth child, Charlotte Elizabeth, who came to America with her father, so I'm speculating that Thomas was married, and either widowed or divorced in England, before coming to America.

Anyone with any knowledge of Thomas and Sarah, including their burial sites, would be greatly appreciated, and I will trade information.

Thank you,
David Fewins
