Jon:
My great grandfather, Frederick Fick born in 1826, came to Lapeer Co., Michigan from Austerlitz, Germany about 1860. His wife, Adlana (Lena) Bougard born in 1836 and first child, John born in 1859, also came at the same time. My grandfather, Henry Fick was the first child born in Michigan in 1861. Can you tell me where Austerlitz is located in Germany? Henry's second wife, Elizabeth Missner came from Nemmersdorf, Germany. I would also like to know where that town is located. Thanks. Ivan A. Conger
